Should we keep our old organ?We hear this question quite a lot these
days. To make the answer short; YES. But more specifically, if you
now own a pipe organ you must know that it can and should be renewed,
updated, upgraded, refurbished or augmented. Maybe it was built
decades ago and has given good service but now needs some help. Maybe
it's not all that old but the tone and specification is not meeting
your needs now. Maybe you have small problems but they are
sufficiently annoying that it limits your full use and enjoyment of
the organ. ALL of these issues can be addressed in a cost-effective
manner. Some salesman might come along and assure you your organ has
lived out its life and can not be repaired or improved. These
salesmen have an agenda which should be obvious, that of selling you
an "organ" (usually an electronic imitation). It is useful
to note that when these digital organs are programmed they use
sampling of sounds from pipe-organs! If you already have a pipe-organ
why not improve and keep the real sound fidelity and reliability of
REAL wind-blown pipes. It is well known that for the leading of
church congregational singing, church, school other uses the PIPE
ORGAN is unmatched. Your pipe organ will last almost indefinitely if
well enough maintained unlike these imitation organs that have a
life-expectancy of less than 25 years in most cases and cost more or
less the equivalent price of refurbishment of your existing organ.
Another matter that is minimized by these salesmen of electronic
substitutes is speakers. The speaker upgrades to achieve the results
they will tout are almost as expensive as the "organ"
itself!. In other words, double the cost. Contact us today and we can
